Step-by-step instructions to install MetjetBot on your Windows PC

Prerequisites

Before installing MetjetBot, ensure your system meets the following requirements:

  • Windows 10 or later (64-bit version)
  • 4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB recommended)
  • 500 MB free disk space
  • Stable internet connection
  • Administrator privileges for installation
⚠️ Important: Make sure to disable any antivirus software temporarily during installation to avoid conflicts. Re-enable it after installation is complete.

Download MetjetBot

Access Download Link

You should have received a download link via email after purchase. If not, check your CodeCanyon downloads page.

Download Installer

Click the download link to get the MetjetBot-Setup.exe file. Save it to your Downloads folder.

Verify File

Ensure the downloaded file is complete and not corrupted. The file size should be approximately 150-200 MB.

Installation Steps

Locate the Installer

Navigate to your Downloads folder and find MetjetBot-Setup.exe

Run as Administrator

Right-click on the installer and select "Run as administrator" to ensure proper installation.

Accept License Agreement

Read the End User License Agreement (EULA) and click "I Agree" to continue.

Choose Installation Directory

Select where you want to install MetjetBot. The default location is C:\Program Files\MetjetBot

Select Components

Choose which components to install. For most users, the default selection is recommended.

Click Install

Click the "Install" button and wait for the installation to complete. This may take 2-5 minutes.

Complete Installation

Once finished, click "Finish" to exit the installer. You can choose to launch MetjetBot immediately.

💡 Tip: During installation, Windows Defender or your antivirus may show a warning. This is normal for new applications. Click "More info" and then "Run anyway" to proceed.

Post-Installation

Desktop Shortcut

A MetjetBot shortcut should be created on your desktop. If not, you can find the application in:

  • Start Menu → All Programs → MetjetBot
  • Installation directory (default: C:\Program Files\MetjetBot)

First Launch

When you launch MetjetBot for the first time:

  • Allow firewall access if prompted
  • Grant necessary permissions for WhatsApp connectivity
  • Complete the initial registration process

Installation Issues

Common Problems

Installation Fails or Freezes

  • Temporarily disable antivirus software
  • Ensure you have administrator privileges
  • Check if you have enough disk space
  • Try running the installer in compatibility mode (Windows 8)

Missing DLL Errors

  • Install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (included in installer)
  • Update Windows to the latest version
  • Reinstall the application

Application Won't Start

  • Restart your computer
  • Check Windows Event Viewer for error details
  • Reinstall the application
  • Contact support with error details
